Security is an interesting, varied, and challenging application domain for Aspect-Oriented Software Development (AOSD). Security requirements are pervasive and complex. They often depend on each other, and their implementation necessitates adequate control over the other concerns in an application. Futhermore, guarantees about the enforcement of security concerns are crucial.

This workshop aims to provide an interactive forum for researchers and developers in the communities of software engineering and security to discuss the use of AOSD technology for security. The goal of the workshop is to explore the opportunities and challenges in this context. In particular, the focus of the workshop will be twofold: the extent to which AOSD can be used for the implementation and enforcement of security requirements, and the tool support that is necessary to enable a full modularization of these requirements.
