The AOSD.08 Organizing Committee invites proposals for tutorials to be held in conjunction with the AOSD.08 conference. We seek to offer a high-quality tutorial program covering the state of the art in AOSD, with topics of interest for participants with intermediate to advanced knowledge of the subject. Tutorials should address advanced techniques, applications, and emerging opportunities in AOSD and related areas. Each submission will be evaluated according to the value and relevance of its topic to conference attendees, the expertise and experience of the presenters, and the completeness and overall quality of the tutorial proposal.

Tutorial proposals should be for a half-day, which is 3 hours excluding breaks. For topics that do not fit well into a half-day format we invite proposals for combined half-day tutorials where a participant can choose to join for only the first half or both halves.

Topics

Specific topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Programming languages
  • Software architectures and product lines
  • Reverse engineering and refactoring tools
  • Analysis and design methods
  • Verification, validation, and testing

Submission Deadlines

Tutorial proposals must be sent via email to the AOSD.08 Tutorial Chair at tutorialsaosd.net, and must be received no later than Wednesday, Nov. 21st, 2007. Early submissions allow us to provide feedback that can improve the final proposal. Notifications to submitters will be made no later than Friday, Dec. 21, 2007.
